Gary M. Gore

As the founder of ACIMA Private Wealth, Gary is fulfilling his vision for a different experience of wealth management that is centered on collaborative relationships, a commitment to excellence and a personal level of care for clients. The firm is the culmination of his 25-year career serving clients in the financial services industry with Bank of America and its predecessor companies.

Prior to founding ACIMA Gary held several key positions advising corporations, private businesses, families and individuals in his capacity as a trusted advisor and senior level executive in the global middle market and private banks. Shortly after its acquisition by Bank of America, he was responsible for the Mid-Atlantic Region as the Executive and Managing Director of U.S. Trust. He led a $15B region for the private bank which catered to the holistic wealth management needs of high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals, families and institutions. Gary also served as the Greater Richmond Market and Virginia State President for Bank of America, where he was the senior level executive responsible for integrating all lines of business, developing market and brand strategy, corporate social responsibility and serving as a member of the bank’s charitable foundation.

Gary earned a BSBA in finance from East Carolina University, completed studies at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Aresty Institute of Executive Education and holds FINRA series 7, 24, 63, 66 securities licenses.

Gary has served on numerous local and statewide boards.  He currently serves as Chair of the Maymont Foundation, a member of the Board of Directors for Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, Boots to Suits, and is a member of the Knights of Columbus. Gary and his wife, Christy, have five children and are members of St. Bridget’s Church. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family, staying active, travel and golf.
